Andrew Staupe

Hailed as an “immaculate” (Minneapolis Star Tribune) artist, Andrew Staupe is emerging as one of the distinctive voices in a new generation of pianists. As soloist, he has performed with many major orchestras across the United States, and toured extensively in Europe. He has performed in Carnegie Hall, The Kennedy Center, Steinway Hall in New York, and on Garrison Keillor's A Prairie Home Companion. An avid chamber musician, he has jammed with Bobby McFerrin, toured with Chee-Yun, and collaborated with some of the most distinguished artists today. He is also deeply passionate about performing contemporary music, and has premiered a large number of new works.
