An active performer, recording artist, educator and promoter for classical music, Ching-Yun Hu’s versatile on-stage personality has taken her to prestigious concert halls and festivals on five continents. Winner of the Arthur Rubinstein International Piano Competition in Tel Aviv and Concert Artists Guild International Competition in New York, she has appeared at prestigious venues including Carnegie Hall, Alice Tully Hall, Kennedy Center, Salle Cortot Paris, Herkulesaal and Gasteig Munich, Chopin Festival in Duszniki-Zdroj, Rubinstein Philharmonic Hall, Tel Aviv Opera House, Taiwan National Concert Hall. She collaborated with the Philadelphia Orchestra and Israel Philharmonic Orchestra, National Symphony Orchestra of Taiwan, and her recordings have received the Best Classical Album of the Year by Golden Melody Award. Founder and artistic director of Taipei’s Yun-Hsiang International Music Festival and Philadelphia Young Pianists’ Academy, she is on the piano faculty at the Boyer College of Music at Temple University in Philadelphia.
