On Thursday September 22, Music by the Glass in conjunction with Louis K. Meisel Gallery hosted a special evening of music accompanied by wine and bites. The Ariel Quartet (comprised of Alexandra Kazovsky, Amit Even-Tov, Gershon Gerchikov and Jan Grüning) and Yamaha artists Ran Dank and Soyeon Kate Lee performed a selection of Brahms, Mendelssohn, Liszt and Beethoven as well as more contemporary pieces from Widmann and Piazzolla. On Tuesday, September 20th, pianist Nadejda Vlaeva played a solo concert to a sold-out Zankel Hall at Carnegie Hall. She performed a selection of popular classics from Schubert and Liszt as well as premiering never heard before pieces from Bortkiewicz and Drozdoff.
