Yoonie Han
Yoonie Han is the first-prize winner of the World Piano Competition, Washington International Piano Competition, Fulbright Concerto Competition, Juilliard Gina Bachauer Competition, and Kosciuszko Chopin Competition. She garnered major prizes at the Helsinki Maj Lind, Arthur Michelangeli, and Ettore Pozzoli International Competitions. She was honored with the Gawon Award as the “most brilliant pianist aged 17-31 of any nationality who possesses the most promising potential for global prominence.” She is a recipient of Brava! Award from the Italian Academy Foundation, and Keyboard Trust Award from London. She has performed with the Berlin Symphoniker, Buffalo Philharmonic, Helsinki Philharmonic, Houston Symphony, Seoul Philharmonic, Banff Festival Orchestra, and I Pomeriggi Musicali di Milan. She has performed at the Berlin Philharmonie, Lincoln Center, Concertgebouw, Kennedy Center, Carnegie Hall, Finlandia Hall, and Frick Collections. Han currently teaches Piano and Chamber Music at Bilkent University, Turkey. An alumna of the Curtis Institute and Juilliard, she is a Steinway Concert & Recording Artist.
